Convertibles in Dubai: what to know
Open-top is the biggest group in the fleet, with 31 convertibles across eight makes: Ferrari, Lamborghini, McLaren, Porsche, Rolls-Royce, Bentley, BMW and Audi. Twenty-five are two-seaters and six have four seats. Power starts at 443 hp in the Porsche 911 Carrera S Cabriolet and reaches 986 hp in the Ferrari SF90 Spyder.
Dubai suits a roof-down drive in winter, roughly November to March, when evenings are mild along Jumeirah beach road, Dubai Marina and Palm Jumeirah. In the summer months the sun and humidity are heavy, so most people keep the roof up with the air conditioning on. Ask us on WhatsApp which cars are available on your dates.
How to choose
- Two seats or four? The Ferrari Portofino, Porsche 911 Turbo S, BMW M4 Competition, Bentley Continental GTC and both Rolls-Royce Dawns seat four. Every other convertible is a two-seater.
- Relaxed or raw? The Dawn and Continental GTC cruise on 563 and 567 hp. The Ferrari and McLaren Spyders are sharper, and the SF90 Spyder leads at 986 hp.
- Mind the season. Summer midday sun makes roof-down driving uncomfortable, so plan an early or late run and keep the roof up with the air conditioning on.

Which convertible is best for a Dubai winter evening?
The four-seat Rolls-Royce Dawn and Bentley Continental GTC are easy choices for a relaxed roof-down drive with passengers. For a louder two-seat experience, look at the Ferrari Roma Spyder or a Lamborghini Huracan Evo Spyder. Ask us to confirm what is available.
Can I drive a convertible with the roof down in summer?
You can, but it is rarely pleasant at midday because of the heat and humidity. Early morning and after sunset work better. Roof up with the air conditioning on is the normal setting for most summer drives in Dubai.
How many convertibles have rear seats?
Six of the 31 have four seats: the Ferrari Portofino, Porsche 911 Turbo S, BMW M4 Competition, Bentley Continental GTC and the two Rolls-Royce Dawns. The rear seats in the sportier models suit short trips or bags better than long adult journeys.
Are a Spyder, a Cabriolet and a Roadster different?
It is mostly branding, because all of them are open-top cars. Ferrari, McLaren, Audi and the Huracan use Spyder, Porsche uses Cabriolet, Bentley uses GTC, and the Lamborghini Aventador SVJ carries the Roadster name, so choose by model rather than label.
